Who is this Fritz you may ask? Fritz was born in Germany in 1938 and moved to Canada in 1956. Fritz had various jobs from farm hand to serving 3 years in the Canadian Armed Forces. Once he settled with his wife, in Hamilton he pursued his love of hair at Marvel Cosmetology School. After training with Vidal Sassoon in London, and the L’Oreal school in Paris Fritz was ready to start his own endeavor and thus Maison Fritz began. The first location opened in Hamilton, Ontario at 24 Victoria avenue in 1964. Fritz dedicated his life to his passion and his clients. After 53 years he retired. His son Christian bought the business and continued with the name. As well as the commitment to keep the highest standards in the industry.

Christian, who was raised in the salon has come to develop life long relationships with our clients. He too took his education abroad, practicing in England before returning home to join the family business. Since then the salon has expanded into two locations in Hamilton, Main St. & Stoney Creek, Paramount specializing in hair and esthetics. Although their methodologies are different both father and son share the same goal of providing their clients an unparalleled salon experience.
